I use fresh herbs, olive oil, sunflower seeds, garlic and ginger, salt, lemon, olives, chickpeas, sundried tomatoes, peppadews which are sourced from local suppliers to make the various Pestos.
Pestos can be used on biscuits, sandwiches, cold meats, cheeses, or with your salads. They are also great flavours to add to whichever meal you serving.
They bring out the best in your stews, grills and soups. Needless to say I don’t use any dried herbs in any of my meals.
Pastas love a dash of pesto to add the flavour. Use whatever pesto that tickles your fancy to make a nice quick and easy meal when you are running late or have had a busy day.
